oooo, whose art is it? sooooo, on the appearance thing. does the gender just have to be the same or does the hair and facial style also have to be the same?

Well, it should be the same gender and cosmetic appearance, I don't know why you'd want your name on a picture of a character that looks nothing at all like you.

Gender is a must, hairstyle and color as close as you can get, face should be similar (identifiable with the picture), skin is forgiving unless there's an extreme difference (like smokey grey prophecies necromancer vs. ivory white)

and don't worry about being in a hurry to "unlock" the art. If it doesn't get claimed, I'm not going to wait around to post new stuff. I'm posting as I finish pictures, so it's not holding up potential new art if there's no match.

First person to present a screenshot that proves their toon is the one in the picture gets that picture. If you end up being the first to claim a picture, congrats! If not, you might meet your twin, which would be interesting, don't you think? Could have a twin party later. (Canthan twins?!)

Of course you see why I'm being so particular about the appearance. If I were only concerned with the armor, then this could be every elementalist that checks nolani and people would fuss over who should get the pic.

I will admit, this picture is not entirely random. I started it for another purpose and for my own reasons couldn't finish when I would have liked to. It was going so well that I couldn't abandon it entirely, so I decided to offer it up to anyone who can first show me that's their toon. After making the choice to finish the picture, I thought it would be a great way to work in general. I'll draw what I like, if the specific person that inspired the work never finds it, but someone else does and fits the glass slipper, it was my pleasure to provide them with the portrait.

Oh and by the way, I might make the "advertisement" on the image a little bigger, seeing the [monster's name] is amazing in itself, and you could just take that :P

Idk just saying

You're probably right. Thank you for [discretion], concern and of course the compliment I'll be more careful with that in the future.

I had taken a bunch of pictures of all my chars and their armor when I got my new computer at the beginning of Sept. Seems like a good time to post them with you doing this now lol. I have a feeling you're going to make several people spam the profession threads

Twin party sounds fun. And now that you mention it, first come first serve definitly makes sense so people aren't fighting.

I don't doubt it for a second, but I have seen some very cool toons there and I know people are always looking for reasons to update their awesome screenies. I'm always finding interesting dye and armor combinations that way. For instance, plain sunspear warrior armor dyed purple and green looks nearly black but has a nice battleworn texture to it and it's so cheap to make. Whoever posted that made my warrior very happy.

ah yes, the cheap black dye combo . I agree, it actually does look very very nice on some armors.
I used it on my necro's elite bonelace actually... didn't turn out too well though. I hate how that armor dyes. Sort of washed out (though I think a lot of necro armors do that... elite canthan is even worse for it)

Nice idea but this will be doing the same thing to the people who get alienated normally. It's just in a different way.

I'll toss my name in here anyway.
